The theater is a stage for the presentation of musical recitals and concerts, plays, ballet and opera, among other cultural shows. It is located on Indaburo street corner Genaro Sanjinéz in the city of La Paz. The theater was designed by the architect José Núñez del Prado and its architectural style corresponds to the Republican period.
